2 more packages went out today!

Boxes #4 and #5 went out today for Amore Del Nino Hogar in Guatemala.I sent some more shoes, clothes, and toys. Here is an updated picture of the Hogar in there last news letter they said they have 56 children. Once again Thank you to those who donated! At this time I am not taking anymore item donations for this orphange because I have a few more boxes to send and I do not have any more funds to send these boxes. I am paying for the shipping out of my pocket so it will be another few weeks before I can send the last of the boxes. If you would like to donate to help pay the shipping that would be wonderful and the rest of the boxes can go out sooner, please let me know.
Also, if you would like to donate directly to the orphange they can definately use the help. Let me know and I will give you that information.

I sent 3 boxes of shoes, underware, and kids clothes out this week for Love the Child hogar in Guatemala. I have another couple boxes that will be sent out soon. Thank you to everyone who donated the supplies needed for this orphange. It will be very much appreciated!

The latest

Willy is still waiting on one signature to be finished with his guardianship papers. I think it is for his new birth certificate. Anyone who is or has adopted from Guatemala know that that can take
months for one signature! GRRRR!!! Please keep praying that this is finished soon so that Willy will have all his necessary paperwork to stay with his foster family.

Also my trip is on hold. I could not raise enough funds for my mission trip back to Guatemala but I did raise enough money to send all the donations that have been given so far. The Hogar (orphange sent me an address of a medical ministry that will be sending a crate full of medical supplies to them and said that I can send all the donations to them and they will ship it it in their crate. So all the shoes, underware, and clothes that have been collected will be shipping out this week. Thank you to everyone who donated to this orpahange. It will be greatly appreciated and used!!! You can count on that!

Finally an update on Willy!

I just received word that Willy should have his Guardianship papers next Friday. Please pray this happens! There have been so many complications in this process and has taken longer then expected! This is the first good news(PTL) so please pray this happens for this little boy! There are always complications with Guatemala adoptions.

The project I am working on right now....

I was planning on going back to Guatemala in August on a mission trip. I have put it off until Sept. or Oct. because I have so much to collect and raise before I go. I am going to Amore Del Nino hogar to take some needed things to them and give them a helping hand for a few days.



I am also going to meet our sponsored Mayan school girl in Panajachel. I will also bring much needed things to their family.

Here are the things that I am collecting to take on my trip to the orphange.

- clothing for boys and girls size 3-8 yrs old. ( I have had some donations in these items)

- shoes for boys and girls size 3-8 old. ( I have had some of these items donated)

These items need to be in good condition no holes or stains.



Things that are needed the most:

- new underware for boys and girls sizes 3-8 yr. old

- new socks for ages 3-8 yr. old

- diaper wipes

- diaper rash cream

- cough syrup

It will be easier to collect money and buy the following items in Guatemala to keep the shipping cost down.

Money needed for the following:

-formula

-antibiotics ( augmentin and amoxicilin)

- shipping cost for the extra items I will be taking



Please Pray these things can be collected in time and that God will provide every penny needed for this my trip and for all the items and shipping of these items. Also please pray that all the provisions that will be needed for my son Josiah to go with me.

I have all the money in Hand now for Willy's Guardianship! Whoo Hoo!!! I am sooo excited how God got all of this together so quickly. All the pledges came in a weeks time. I have just been waiting on all the money to arrive before I posted this Praise and Big Thank YOU!!!

Wonderful NEWS!!!!!!!

The lawyer has started working on Willy's Gardianship!!!!!
Please Keep Praying for this little boy! Pray that God has already cleared the path so that this
Guardianship can happen quickly! There are so many problems in Guatemala with adoptions and BC's that I am praying their will not be for our lawyer and for Willy!

I will be going to Guatemala in August on a mission trip and plan to visit Willy and the foster family. I will also take another box of clothes down for him along with smaller shoes. The shoes I sent down a few weeks ago were to big. I am also hoping to leave another small (money) gift to help with out with what ever Willy might need.

I just wanted to let everyone know with your support, we raised enough Pledges for Willy!!! I am waiting for a few more pledges to come and then I will have all the money needed for Willy. I was trying to wait until I had all the money in hand before I gave an update. The lawyer has received his money I sent. I am just waiting on word he has actually started the Guardianship for Willy. Update on Willy's Guardianship!

I sent the first 1/2 of the payment to the laywer today! Enough came in so I could send him his $500. Praise God!!!!! The lawyer waited to make sure I could get the money to him before he started Willy's Guardianship! He will have his money in his account to start next week!!!

PLEASE Keep praying the rest of the money needed comes in! And start praying this process for Guardianship goes smoothly and quickly! We all know how Guatemalan adoptions can turn!!!

Todays Update on Willy

As of this morning we are $160 away from getting Willy's Guardianship. Praise God!!!
I am still waiting on the other pledges to come in($500) I am still needing $100 more to send the lawyer his first payment. Pray that I can do that this week and also keep praying for the
other $160 that is needed!

UPDATED AGAIN!!!
We are only $260 away from the money needed for Willy's Guardianship. I was given another $100 yesterday. So right now I am up to $400 in my hand. And waiting on $400 more that people have pledged so far!!!! Keep those prayers coming!!!!!! We can do this!!!!

I am not able to send the money to the lawyer today as planned. Because I only have $300 , but hopefully this week I will be able to send it!Please keep praying for the rest of the money need!!!

The Contributions For Willy!

I just wanted to keep everyone updated. So far we have a total of $600 pledged to help Willy.

I have only received $100 of it so far. Keep praying people we are almost there. Only $460 away

from Willy's Guardianship!! Thank you to all who have prayed, given, and helped me spred the word to help Willy! When 2 or more agree and come in the name of the Lord and pray in one accord it will be given unto you.

You all are awesome!!!!!!! I have been moved by all your love and support you have given to me and especially Willy He is such a special little boy!! That is why I am so determined to help him get guardianship so he will never have to leave is foster parents! It would kill me to see him end up in an orphanage!!

SO far I have had $395 pledged to help Willy. Only $605 more to go. Plus I will be paying the $30 for each time that I wire the money to the lawyer. We are almost there to send the first payment Monday.

UPDATE!!!

I asked the Lawyer if he will take $500 down to start the guardianship for Willy and then the other $500 once he had gotten the guardianship. I told him he knew how we worked since we hired him for Lilee's case and he knew he would be paid! I also told him that it would be easier for me to raise the $500 now to start then it would be $1000.Especially since this is not our child. I just love the orphans and want to make sure Willy does not end up in an orphanage and that if I knew I could help 1 more child to have a permanent home then I would do what I could to make that happen! He is ready to start once he has the money!!!

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING that GOD will Send the Money in quickly. I have already had a few

WE HAVE A LAWYER!!!!!!!!

Our 2nd Lawyer who handled Lilee's case and got her home to us, agreed to get Guardianship for Willy's foster family so that he can permanently and legally stay with them until he is 18. I am so thrilled this is such a relief to know that there can be one less orphan in Guatemala. Especially since the adoptions are haulted for the ones still in process and closed to new adoption. He says he can do it with 15 days. But needs his money upfront, $1,000.

So people PLEASE start praying that I can raise this amount of money soon, for Willy's guardianship!!!!!!!!!! The foster parents are terrified because they do not have any legal papers
letting them keep Willy,everyone told them to take him to the orphange and they can not. He is their son already!They have had him since birth and he turned 3 on May 6th. That is why they asked me for help. My church anyone that would help. The lawyer was just letting him stay with them because they asked to take care of him and the orphanges are all over crowded. If the police question them they do not have any paper work for Willy and then they would be arrested and then he would have to go to the orphange!

I am suppose to be getting new pictures of Willy soon and will post them as soon as I do. He is being hand delivered a package tomorrow by Magen who generously offered to take it to Antigua for me. Myself, Judy, and Amber sent him $150 for support . I also sent him Clothes, and toys for his birthday. I am sooooooo excited to see pictures!! Thank You again Magen!!!!!

Working on finding the right lawyer.....

I am in contact with a few lawyers through a couple of Americans in Antigua. We are trying to get all the paperwork needed to get Willy's guardianship. PLEASE pray that the right lawyer will be able to get everything needed for Willy, so that I can help the foster family get guardianship of him so that he does not have to end up in an orphange.

Willy's first support is on its way!

I sent the box out for Willy yesterday.A sweet girl named Magen volunteered to take it to Antigua, Guatemala to hand deliver it to Willy. She won't be able to give it to him until the 11th. Willy's B/D is the 6th. But I am just thankful that he will be getting it near his B/D. She said she would take pictures of him getting his box. I am soooo excited!!!

Willy will also have support for 3 months. Between 2 very giving friends Judy, Amber , and I were able to sent him $50 a month for 3 months. I was able to send him some of our youngest sons clothes he grew out of. ( 2 pr. PJ's, slippers, 6 outfits, and 2 pr. shoes) My kids and I also sent him a few B/D presents.

Thanks again for your help Judy, Amber, and Magen!!! I couldn't have done it with out you!

Please Help Save Willy!

This is my first and main mission right now. Meet Willy!! He was Lilee's foster brother in Guatemala. He was 1 of 3 foster children our foster family was keeping. He was the only one that did not get adopted. He had alot of issues with his case and the courts dropped him and claimed him unadoptable. They ordered him to go immediately to an orphanage but our foster family asked if they could keep him. His lawyer has let him stay with them for the time being. But the foster family has not been paid since then and has not received any kind of help for milk, food, clothing. Nothing! They have tried to obtain Willy's BC and guardianship and can not because of the cost. They feel helpless and asked me for help! But only for support for Willy for milk, food, ect..... The do not want him going to an orphanage! They told me, "he is not an animal to just discard, he is our family and we love him!"

What they do not know is that I have been looking into the cost of them gaining gaurdianship of Willy and so far I found out that it will cost a $1,000. I am still looking into this though to make sure! That is not near anything that I expected the cost to be. This family loves Willy so much! They have had him since birth and will be 3 on May 6th. They are all he knows!!!!!

I am sending down a box next week of clothes , shoes, and toys, for Willy's Birthday. Along with support for Willy. Thank you Judy and Amber for having a loving heart for Willy. With their support and mine, together we raised $150 for Willy. And a big thank you to Megan who will be hand delivering this to Willy in Antigua. Thank you all so much!!! This could have not happened with out all of your help!

Now I need to raise the money for the Guardianship of Willy so he does not have to be put in an orphange. He has a family who loves him and wants to keep him! The only family he has ever known. Willy is a good boy and he is very happy!! I have got to meet Willy several times and he is a cutie!!!!!!!!!!

I hope by August the $1,000 will be raise and some how God can provide me with a plane ticket to go to Antigua personally and help this family get the guardianship of Willy.Then there would be one less orphan in the world! I also will be going to a orphange (I love so dearly) to take things they need and give them a helping hand. Unless God provides a miracle and want me to go sooner then August. Then I will go!

If anyone is interested in taking a mission trip I am working on putting one together. Stay tuned for more info on that! Everything is a work in progress and I am working on getting all the details and the list of needs the orphange needs.

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

- The support for Willy's Guardianship.

-That the Lord will work everything out perfectly so that it all falls into place without any problems, so that Willy does not have to go to the Orphange.

-As plans are being made for my mission trip this summer and that I will have company that wants to go along.

- enough donations will be raised for the orphange and Roxana (a very needy Mayan child).

- that I can raise my support that I need for my upcoming trip.

- also pray as I am taking my first steps with my new Ministry!

My Goal....

My Goal is to make a couple of trips a year to personally deliver the things the children are in need of most. (The Orphanage, our Mayan School Girl, and Willy.) All these children are in great need of things.

Some needs that will be coming up soon are:
Blankets
Clothes -childrens
Shoes- childrens
Donations for: Water filters, tables and chairs, food, diapers, ect.

I will go into futher detail soon. I am in the process of finding out more on these things that are needed. So please stay tuned!

The Beginning....

I have felt the Lord leading me for a while to start a Ministry to help the Orphans that were left behind after the adoptions shut down in Guatemala, along with the very needy Mayan children too. After the adoptions of our 2 Guatemalan Princessa's I still felt it was not enough. We can not adopt again right now. But the children still need help. I feel this is where the Lord is leading me. I am stepping out to see how God can use me.

My first Priority will be the Children I know personally that need help. I am starting out small but I hope it will change many childrens lives.
